THE KOURE GIRAFFES RESERVE
We take you to Koure, some 45 minutes by car south east from Niamey, to meet the giraffes.
- Start from Niamey. We pick you up at your hotel or at the place where you stay
- Car to Koure (45 minutes)
- Discussion with the local guides
- Search safari in the Koure reserve. Your guide should be able to bring you to the herd but Giraffe can move pretty swiftly!
- Once spotted, you will be able to approach the giraffes by foot
- Back to Niamey or visit of the local market (animals, fruits and vegetables)
- This tour will take approximately half a day
- We can arrange for a 4*4 car or you can take your own (Searching for the giraffes can take us through bumpy roads)
- Don't forget to take some protection against the sun, and your photo camera with you.
